Naruto x NINKŪ: new anime and Shadow Rising manga
The Naruto franchise announced a new TV anime series and a new manga at New York Comic Con 2026. The anime is a crossover with NINKŪ, Koji Kiriyama's manga, and will be supervised by both Masashi Kishimoto and Kiriyama.

According to the official synopsis, Kakashi gives Team 7 — Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura — a mission he cannot join, so Naruto becomes acting leader. On the way, the trio gets lost in another world and meets Fūsuke, a boy with a frog-like face.
Naruto: Shadow Rising, the new manga
The panel closed with a teaser revealing Naruto: Shadow Rising, a new manga by Kishimoto. More details will be shared at Jump Festa 2027 in December. No premiere date has been announced for the anime yet. The announcements were made on Saturday, October 10, during the franchise's panel in New York.
