GTA 6: new gameplay on South Park and 12 screenshots
Three weeks before launch, Grand Theft Auto VI was trending again: Rockstar Games supplied a short clip of real gameplay that appeared in a South Park episode aired on October 28 on Comedy Central. The episode's credits confirm the footage was provided by Rockstar.
What South Park showed
In the scene, Jason and Lucia walk along a crowded Vice City beach and Jason interacts with an object dropped by a dog owner, a very South Park joke that also shows how detailed the game world is.
New screenshots and details
Rockstar also released 12 new screenshots alongside a feature in Edge magazine. According to the details shared, the map is roughly the size of GTA 4, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 combined, players can switch between Jason and Lucia at any time, and trains and buses are fully functional. GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
